Born in the north of England, and moving to Sault Ste Marie at a young age, Margaret has spent most of her life in Northern Ontario. Living in Sudbury for the last 35 years, and having spent considerable time in the North Channel/Manitoulin Island area of Ontario, she has developed a strong affinity to the beauty of the North. In addition, her extensive travel to many countries around the world has provided the serious inspiration reflected in her art.

A graduate of the University of Guelph with a degree in Fine Art, her work has mainly focused on watercolours and acrylics. Margaret has sold her work through private sales and via a gallery on Manitoulin Island.
