Original art crafted with passion.

Artist Bio

Sudbury, Ontario
I started painting when I retired. I am a member of the Sudbury Art Club and the Walden Art Club. I paint mostly landscapes, many of which are inspired by local scenes, especially along the paths by Junction Creek. I like to paint buildings as well. Many of the buildings I paint are local. I have had exhibitions with the Sudbury Art Gallery (Buddha Location), Sudbury Theater Center, and Cambrian Theater Center and most recently at the La Cloche Art Show. I am featured in the Northern Ontario Artists Association art calendar and I have won awards at the Cavalcade of Colours. I use water soluble oils. I like oils because they give a very rich image and feeling. Painting is a passion not a hobby. There is an artist in each one of us waiting to emerge.
Painting is soul work. Through painting, I see beyond the obvious, look beyond distractions, and connect with the universe.
