In my home studio or by the lake at my cottage hideaway, I play to my heart’s content with colored glass, cutting, grinding, fusing & polishing. I occasionally envision shapes from ornaments or photos for my creations.
I also set finished glass pieces into fallen cedar trees collected from our forests. The elements have naturally shaped the cedar trees and in turn, shape my designs. Occasionally aged and weathered barnwood salvaged from dismantled barns also serve a purpose in my designs.
My goal is to create pieces where sunlight illuminates the glass, casting colors where they fall.
